If you want to section a fixed brain from medium size animal, such as cats, dogs, pigs, and monkeys, the VF-800 is your choice. Many neuroanatomy and neuropathology experiments require sectioning entire brains from these animals, and there have been no answer for this need until now. With the specimen syringe diameter ranging from 75 mm to 120 mm, the VF-800 is capable of sectioning whole brain tissues of small and large primates to as thin as 40 microns.
