Compresstome™ VF-700:
The VF-700 is the most sophisticated model of Compresstome for histology experiments. The unique bridge type structure and sectioning mode totally eliminate chatter marks (vibration marks) from the slice, resulting in mirror-like smooth surfaces. The VF-700 overcomes the two most prominent shortages of the vibratory microtomes, the slow sectioning speed and the slice surface chatter marks, while maintaining all the advantages of the no-freezing, no-paraffin sectioning. The histology images are sharp and clear, much better than those from the cryostat. The VF-700 is the machine of choice for free-floating immunohistochemistry with extremely high quality slice images.
